We are presenting a lesson with a modified version of the widely popular 5E Instructional Model. We will present a fourth grade 6E lesson that utilizes multiple formative assessment probes to help teach the challenging topic of electrical circuits. The probes are especially useful in uncovering conceptual misunderstandings.
