Climate Change Information & Educational Resources
This session will provide an overview of the greenhouse effect, outline climate change impacts already being experienced in Ohio, and share a number of reliable science resources for further reading. In addition, this session will discuss a growing body of online climate change education resources and the importance of teaching the nature of science.

Integrating Technical Writing for Student Success
Participants of this session will discover how easily research and technical writing can be embedded into their classroom. Focus will be on integrating Ohio Learning Standards Cognitive Demands and CCSS ELA Technical Writing Standards. Research and technical writing is vital for developing student critical thinking skills which leads to real-world college and career application of those skills. Ohio Academy of Science Technical Writing Guides will be given to each participant.
