This interactive session covers educational efficacy, economic benefits, ethical considerations and current laws and policies regarding the use of animals in science education. Participants will gain hands-on experience with popular digital dissection programs and are asked to bring a laptop.

Teaching the Water Cycle and Watersheds Using Hands On Experiences and Online Tools
This session will present the five curriculum models created by the team under a grant from the National Science Foundation. The presentation will be interspersed with brief interactive components. Participants are invited to bring a laptop or tablet to visit the various websites that are presented.
