Foldables & Food Labs
This program will highlight easy food labs that can be used with Ohio Science standards in middle school. A foldable is an easy way to present key vocabulary terms as students try to make sense of what they learn in order to master their science content standards. Knowing what a word means and being able to visualize a food model are fundamental to promoting literacy in science.

In this session, participants will be introduced to the LIGHT Project, a collaboration among the Darke County ESC, the Matt Light Foundation and the Miami Valley Leave No Child Inside initiative.
